Christians asked to be cautious of politicians

Koforidua, Feb.21, GNA- Reverend Charles Barifi Ahwireng, Chairman of the Akuapem Presbytery, has urged Christians to put their trust in God and not in any politician or political party.

Rev. Ahwireng who was speaking at an induction service of Rev. Daniel Kwadwo Abrokwa, as the Eastern Regional Manager of Presbyterian Schools and Minister-in Charge of the Trinity Presby Church in Koforidua said it had always been a fruitless exercise for people to put their faith in mortal politicians instead of the immortal God. Rev. Abrokwa said he would do his best to maintain the unity that had existed in the Presbyterian Church.

He called on the youth to abstain from pre-marital sex to insulate them from the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
