This year’s Golden Tulip Hotel annual Independence Day marathon for school children comes off at the Hotel in Accra on Sunday, March seven. A spokesman for the hotel said in Accra yesterday that about 200 school children drawn from private and public schools in the Greater Accra Region are expected to participate in the 20-kilometre race, which starts at 0700 hours. He said Cocoa Processing Company and Ashfoam Products Limited are the co-sponsors of the event. Mr Tom Sheriff, Managing Director of the hotel will present prizes to the winners.
