Ejisu (Ash), Feb 14, GNA- Two farmers, Akosua Awusi, 35, and Ama Badu, 32, were on Thursday granted 10 million cedis bail each by the Ejisu Magistrate court for fighting.

They all pleaded guilty and would re-appear on February 14. Police Inspector S.S. Kudolo told the Court presided over by Mr Noble Nkrumah that on January 3, this year, Madam Awusi reported to the Police that Badu had inflicted cutlass wounds on her right arm and was therefore given a medical form to go to the hospital.

He said 30 minutes later, Badu also reported to the Police that Awusi had beaten her and so she was also given a medical form. Inspector Kudolo said the two complainants returned to the police station from hospital and were charged with the offence.
