The Montreal and Toronto (Canada) Chapters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have sent a congratulating message to the former General Secretary of the National Party, Mr. Daniel Kweku Botwe on his confirmation as the new Minister for Information. The message signed by Michael Baffoe and Patrick Agyekum, local Chapter Secretaries of the Montreal and Toronto Chapters read as follows:
It is with great sense of pride and excitement to learn of your confirmation as the Minister of Information. The Information Ministry is a vital machinery which is needed to publicize the good works of our party and government. Our government needs to reach and educate Ghanaians both at home and abroad on its policies, programs and positive achievements. We trust that your many years experience as the General Secretary of our Party has equipped you with the necessary tools for this job. The President made a wise choice in appointing you and we have no doubt that you will live up to expectation. The local Canadian Chapters of our great Party look forward to working with you to properly inform Ghanaians on the policies and achievements under Positive Change Chapter Two.
