TDC denies appointing agencies to sell land

Tema, Feb 03, GNA – The Tema Development Corporation (TDC) on Thursday stated that it had not appointed or commissioned any company or agencies to sell 600 plots of land on its behalf at Tema Community 25.

The TDC said information reaching it indicates that some unauthorised persons or agents are using the name “PS Global Marketing Limited” to post advertisements indicating that they have procured 600 plots at the community for resale to workers.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mr Samuel Abaka said, “The allegation or claims contained in the said advertisements are entirely false and disclaimed”.

TDA said it had not contracted anybody to market its plots and therefore warned that people who transacted business with any individuals, companies or agencies do so at their own risk. The TDC advised the public to report immediately such people to the law enforcement agencies.

It appealed to prospective buyers of serviced plots to contact the Estate Department or the Managing Director for further enquires on the sale of serviced plots.
