Agriculturalist elected PM for Ahanta West.

Agona Nkwanta (W/R) Jan. 25 – GNA – A 46 year old project coordinator of Ricerca ‘e Cooperazione, an Italian Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Mr. Moses E. Ogoe, was on Tuesday elected as the Presiding Member of the Ahanta West District Assembly. He polled 42 votes out of a total of 45 votes cast to assume leadership of the assembly in an election conducted and supervised by the district electoral officer, Mr. Kwadwo Debrah-Gyamfi.

Mr. Ogoe expressed his appreciation to all assembly members for their trust and for electing him to lead them.

He pledged to unify the meeting and work with all members towards the realisation of the goals of the assembly.

Nana Bogu Wiabo II, Out-going Presiding member said the election should not divide the house since there must be only one winner adding, “our focus is to assist in the rapid development of our district and we must not disappoint our people.
