Kufuor To Attend Funeral of Eyadema’s Brother

Lome, Togo (PANA) – Ghanaian president John Kufuor is expected here Friday to attend the funeral ceremonies of Kabissa Gnassingbe, brother of Togolese president Gnassingbe Eyadema, in Kara, some 425 km north of the capital, the interior ministry announced.

It said the Ghanaian head of State will attend the wake before participating Saturday in the funeral mass.

President Kufuor is so far the only head of State expected to attend the funeral of Kabissa, who passed away on 3 January 2005 in Kara.
