Suhum, Jan. 18, GNA – Akosua Jawuku, a 50 year-old Trader from Asoboe in the Eastern Region, was found lying dead out the outskirt of the town, along the Accra- Nsawam-Suhum road at 0430 hours on Monday. Her corpse was speared with faeces whilst her panties had been removed.
The daughter of the deceased, Vida Jawuku, told the Ghana News Agency GNA) that the deceased was last seen in the company of her boyfriend, a 33-year-old taxi driver, popularly called “Masalase”, who is on the run.
Vida alleged that the mat, sandals and headscarf of her mother were found in the house of her boyfriend.
The Police told the GNA that the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Suhum Government Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
