Kokofu (Ash), Jan. 17, GNA – The Abusuapanin and Elders of the Aduana and Abontendom Stool of Asiwa in the Amansie East District of Ashanti on Wednesday destooled Nana Yeboah Asuamah II, Abontendomhene of Asiwa in the Kokofu Traditional Area.
The Abuasuapanin slaughtered a ram in accordance with tradition to indicate the destoolment and a portion of the meat was accordingly sent to the Manwerehene.
A statement issued at Kokofu on Monday and signed by Opanin Alfred Yaw Asante, Abuasuapanin of Asiwa Aduana Family, said the destoolment of the Abontendomhene followed his gross insubordination and disrespecting the Elders.
