Only Admission Board admits students – University of Ghana

Accra, Jan.13, GNA – The University of Ghana says only the “University Admission Board has the power to admit students” so prospective students should not to pay money to those claiming they could assist them to gain admission.

A statement issued in Accra and signed by the Registrar of the University, Mr T. A Konu said some unscrupulous people were going about extorting money from applicants and claiming they had the ability to facilitate their admission into the University.

The statement said application fees for Sub-Degree and Bachelor Degree Programme was 350,000 cedis; Post First Degree Law Programme, 400,000 cedis; Master’s Programmes, 400,000 cedis and MBA/MPA/PH.D, 450,000 cedis and warned that anything above the stipulated prices was fraudulent.
