Parliament sits for 15 minutes

Accra, 13th January — Parliament today, sat for just about 15 minutes since there was nothing slated on the order paper to do.

After the usual prayers, a statement and the correction of votes, the Majority Leader, Mr Felix Owusu Adjapong moved for the sitting to be adjourned, adding that various Committees that have been constituted would be meeting after the adjournment.

Earlier, before the commencement of Public Business, the Speaker, Mr Ebenezer Begyina Sekyi-Hughes, read a communication from President John Agyekum Kufuor informing the House of the list of nominees for Ministerial Appointment.

He later referred it to the Appointments Committee for consideration and a report.
