Church holds reception for members

Ho, Jan 10, GNA – Rev Mrs Helen Agbetsoamedo, Associate-Pastor of Jubilee Christian Centre (JCC) Ho branch, on Sunday called on Church leaders to demystify the spirituality of Christianity.

“The Church should not be a place for only the preaching of the word of God but also a place of sharing emotional and material things”, she said.

Rev Mrs Agbetsoamedo made the call at a reception for the branch’s 400 members in appreciation of their commitment and loyalty to the Church.

She said the fostering of social interaction among Church members creates a strong bond of belongingness reminiscent of the early Christians.

Rev.Mrs Agbetsoamedo said the Church is like a family where everybody has the responsibility of being each other’s keeper. “As members always give offerings and bless their leaders, it is just fair for leaders to also show their love. As a father, you must at least once in a while appreciate your children” she said.
