Developers warned against encroachment on government lands

Amasaman (GA), Jan. 3, GNA – Mr. King Felix Ashley, Assemblyman for Ofankor has warned to land developers in the area to refrain from encroaching on government lands.

He also urged them not to construct buildings on waterways and at authorised places, to forestall any disaster in the future. Mr. Ashley made the call when he and some Unit Committee executives conducted the Ghana News Agency (GNA) round to observe a building on a parcel of land earmarked by the Ga District Assembly for the construction of a market, Lorry Park and a place of convenience at Asofan.

Mr. Ruben Larbi, Unit Committee Chairman of Asofan, briefing the He said the Assembly’s Taskforce went further to demolish part of the building to deter the owner from going ahead with the project.
