Ho area records six minor reported crimes during Christmas

Ho, Dec. 27, GNA – Six minor criminal cases were recorded by the Ho District Police during the Yuletide, Mr Richard Johnson, Ho District Police Commander said on Monday.

He told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the offences were mainly assaults, resulting from over indulgence during the celebrations. Mr Johnson said there was one stealing case involving an employee of a Fuel Retail Station who was alleged to have “pinched” sales of his employer.

He said the Police would continue with routine and snap checks to maintain the peace, which has so far prevailed in the metropolis during the holidays.

The streets of the metropolis were generally quiet with hardly any outdoor events except for Church activities.
