Leaders blamed for problems of Africa

Accra, Dec. 26, GNA – The Reverend Frank Donkor, Overseer of the Praise Chapel International, has attributed the problems of Africa to the exploitative and abusive tendencies of some leaders on the continent.

He said these leaders enact draconic laws to facilitate their perpetual rule, at the expense of the people. Delivering a sermon at the ordination of four pastors at the Miracle Rock Church International, in Accra on Sunday, Rev Donkor said leadership was a special calling to serve and not to Lord it over the people.

He pointed out that leadership was a critical need of the Church and said the strength or failure of any church depended on it. “Leadership is not about tittles, appearance. You should be the light in a dark well,” he said.

The Reverend Dr. Charles Abban, Overseer of the Miracle Rock Church International, charged the new Pastors, Judanopa Abdi Jehu-Appiah, Joseph Essilfie Koomson, WOII Henry Kwame Agyapong (RTD) and Orwell Riis Moore to be ready to serve anywhere they would be posted.
