Nkoranza, Dec 23, GNA – Mr Kwabena Asante, Nkoranza District Electoral Officer, has commended the chiefs and people of Nkoranza for exhibiting a high sense of maturity and discipline during the general elections in the communities as no violence recorded.
Mr Asante told Ghana News Agency that the way and manner the people comported themselves at the various polling centres was very remarkable.
”The most significant thing about the exercise was how the party agents interacted with their opposition members in a peaceful manner without any quarrels, thereby making the work of the returning officers, presiding officers and the polling agents very smooth.”
Mr Asante therefore stressed the need for Nkoranza citizens to remain united to promote development.
