Kufuor continues to receive messages of congratulation

Accra, Dec. 21, GNA – The Chiefs, Elders and the people of Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region have sent a congratulatory message to President John Agyekum Kufuor for winning Election 2004.

A press release in Accra on Tuesday signed by Nana Kwaku Tuffuor, the Chief of Foase-Atwima Number One, stated that the victory of President Kufuor was in appreciation of the varied benefits the people of Ghana had enjoyed under his good leadership and for the good economic policies of his Government.

Nana K. Tuffuor pledged the unflinching support of the Atwima Kwanwoma people to President Kufuor during his second term of office.

He expressed the hope that Ghanaians would continue to give the necessary support to him and prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for him to pursue policies that would impact positively on the fortunes of the country and standard of living of the people of Ghana.

The Chief also thanked Ghanaians for exhibiting such a high level of democratic maturity and tolerance during the elections. He expressed the hope that Ghanaians would continue to show understanding and patience for President Kufuor and his government.

Nana Tuffuor advised Ghanaians to bury all their political differences for peace to prevail in the country, since it was only in peace and harmony that development and prosperity could thrive.
