Marriages fixed for December 28 postponed

Accra, Dec. 20, GNA – The Registrar-General’s Department announced on Monday that it has postponed all marriages scheduled for December 28 because the day has been declared a public holiday.

In a statement issued in Accra, the Department said all those whose marriages were scheduled for December 28 should call on the Principal Registrar of Marriages to reschedule their wedding dates. The President has declared December 27 and 28 as public holidays because Christmas Day and Boxing Day fall on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
