The North America Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) congratulates President John A. Kufuor and the NPP Party on the resounding victory in the 2004 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. The politically sophisticated and mature manner in which the president led the nation in the elections ensured transparency, fairness and free atmosphere in the conduct of the polling and the democratic process.
The constitutional victory achieved by the NPP in virtually all the regions of the country has captured the commanding heights of parliamentary politics and demonstrated to the whole world that the NPP is indeed a confluence of mighty rivers of all the ethnic groups in Ghana.
Ghana is blessed to have outstanding leadership in the person of President John A. Kufuor, and we of the North America Branch of NPP will always be alert to seize every opportunity to further build on the president?s leadership and strengthen the links between the party and the branches overseas.
We look forward to contribute to the political, social and economic development of the country under the leadership of President John Agyekum Kufuor.
