Ghanaians living abroad urged to invest in Ghana

Pobiman (G/A), Dec. 15, GNA – Nii Korankye Hansen, a Ghanaian resident in United States has appealed to Ghanaians resident outside the country to invest some of their earnings in meaningful projects in Ghana to enhance the growth of the economy.

He said Ghanaians outside could help by setting up projects in the communities that would absorb the unemployed youth who migrate to the urban centres in search of non-existing jobs.

Nii Hansen, who is a native of Nsawam noted that the country’s democratic dispensation has created the enabling environment for business to flourish and it behoves on Ghanaians themselves to set the pace by bringing in their hard earned monies for the expansion and development of the economy.

Nii Hansen, Director of Hans Lodge made the suggestion when he conducted the Ghana News Agency round to inspect the lodge, which was built at the cost of 1.5 million dollars at Pobiman near Macedonia Junction in the Greater Accra Region.

The building comprises 13 well-furnished bedrooms, a conference room, catering and laundery services and bar/restaurant. He said meanwhile, he has employed 16 youth who would provide services, while additional 50 would be recruited after the official opening of the lodge.
