DCE inaugurates projects in Ejisu-Juaben

Kwamo (Ash), Dec 8, GNA-Mr Yaw Ahenkora Afrifa, District Chief Executive for Ejisu-Juaben, has inaugurated a number of development projects in some communities in the district.

The projects include a 400 million-cedi market at Kwamo, a 52 million-cedi borehole at Fumesua and a 12-seater aqua privy toilet at Adako-Jachie built at the cost of 56 million cedis.

He also inaugurated a six-classroom block built at the cost of 200 million cedis at Abenase and two boreholes which cost 1.4 billion cedis to sink and built a 56 million-cedi toilet, all at Kokobra.

Mr Ahenkora Afrifa also inspected some on-going projects at the Ejisuman Secondary School, Juaben Secondary School and the Church of Christ Secondary School at Adadientem.

Speaking at separate functions during the inauguration of these projects, the DCE asked the communities to take good care of the facilities so that they will last longer to serve them.

He said the NPP government was a caring government, which was ready to assist all communities to raise their standard of living and gave the assurance that the government will not shirk that responsibility.

Mr Ahenkora Afrifa commended students of the three senior secondary schools where he inspected the projects for their discipline and asked them to keep it up to enable them pass to become useful citizens.
