NDC wins in Ningo/Prampram

Prampram, Dec. 8, GNA – The National Democratic Congress (NDC), has won both the presidential and parliamentary elections in the Ningo/Prampram Constituency in the Dangme West District of the Greater Accra Region.

The incumbent Member of Parliament, Mr Enoch Teye Mensah, has retained his seat for the third time in twelve years.

He polled 17,179 votes to beat his opponent Mr Samuel Martey Carboo of the New Patriotic Party who polled 6,782 votes. Large crowd of NDC youth supporters thronged the premises of the MP to congratulate him amidst jubilation and singing even before 50 percent of the results in the area were declared.

Mr Mensah expressed his gratitude to the people for the support and confidence they had reposed in him for the past years that they gave him the mandate.
