MP presents items to institutions at Gomoa

Gomoa Abora, Dec 02, GNA – Mrs Ama Benyiwa-Doe, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa West, has presented a number of items to some institutions and communities to promote their activities. The items, worth over 100 million cedis, were purchased from the MP’s share of District Assembly’s common Fund.

Gomoa secondary technical School at Dawurampong received a 29-inch colour television, a computer with accessories all worth over 30 million.

Mozano Secondary Technical School at Mozano near Gomoa Eshiem got a 29-inch colour television, a video deck and 100 bags of cement. Apaaba Integrated Community Centre for Employable Skills at Gomoa Mprumem and St Ann’s Vocational Training Centre at Gomoa Ankamu got two soar lamps each.

The Gomoa District Directorate of Ghana Education Service had a computer and a printer while Mumford community got 30 bags of cement for a school project.

Dago community was presented with three packets of roofing sheets, 40 bags of cement and a number of scantlings for construction of sheds at the beach.

Mrs. Benyiwa-Doe appealed to the beneficiaries to put the items to good use and also to ensure regular maintenance to make them last.
