Social Club presents items to Ahmadiyya Hospital

Techiman, (B/A), Dec. 2, GNA- The Techiman Dizendane Members Club (DMC) has donated food items worth 500,000 Cedis to the inmates of the Techiman Ahmadiyya Hospital.

The items included sugar, eggs, bread, milk, oranges and soap. Making the presentation on behalf of the Club, Mr Stephen Awala, Financial Secretary of the Club said the presentation was their widow’s mite to help the hospital administration to take good care of the sick on admission at the hospital.

Dr. Adam Hamid of the Hospital, who received the items on behalf of the patients, thanked members of the Club for their kind gesture and said the donation would help to increase the nutritional value of the patients.

Over 200 members of the Club earlier undertook a two-hour clean-up exercise by weeding around the hospital to clear the place of filth.
