National Chief Imam asks Muslims to pray for peaceful vote

Accra, Dec. 1, GNA – The National Chief Imam on Wednesday asked all Regional and District Chief Imams to offer special prayers on Friday for a peaceful, free and fair vote.

A statement signed in Accra by Alhaji Mahama Thariru, Public Relations Officer at the Office of the National Chief Imam, said the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharabutu would lead the prayers at the Abossey Okai Central Mosque.

It said payers would also be offered for world peace.
