Naadu Mills advises NDC Youth to comport themselves

Prampram (G/A), Nov. 24, GNA – The wife of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate, Mrs Naadu Mills has advised the NDC youth to comport themselves during this year’s elections to ensure that it ended peacefully.

She also urged them not to allow themselves to be used by politicians in order not to end up in the hands of the Police on Election Day and thereby be unable to exercise their franchise. “Don’t ever accept to give out your voter ID cards for any kind of reward, else they will make the wrong choice for you”, she told NDC supporters at a rally at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.

Mrs Mills said the NDC had learnt a lot when it went into opposition and that when voted back to power it would ensure a better development and a fair distribution of the national cake.

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency, Mr Enoch Teye Mensah expressed regret that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has refused to accept the fact that many of the projects they had embarked upon were initiated by the NDC, citing the Tema-Sogakope road which he said was started by the previous government.

He said the NPP’s “so far so good” policies rather resulted in poverty among Ghanaians and urged the people to vote for him and the NDC to continue with the good work.

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr Joshua Alabi said the Party had become stronger than before and was poised to win this year’s elections.

He said the high number of unemployed youth in the country was a clear indication that the NPP Government had failed in its promise of creating jobs for Ghanaians and, therefore, it would be a big mistake to give it another mandate.
