Akropong-Akuapem, Nov. 24, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is training about 13,600 Party Agents, to monitor Election 2004, in the 2,607 polling stations in the Eastern Region. Nana Adi Ankamah, Regional Chairman of the NPP, made this known when he addressed the second zonal programme to train the trainers of the agents at Akropong-Akwapim on Tuesday.
It was part of a five-day training programme for 356 zonal trainers drawn from the 28 constituencies in the Region and classified into six groups.
Nana Ankamah said since elections were won at the polling stations, there was the need for the NPP to ensure that the Agents were well trained to perform their roles effectively.
