The rally was been held at the only road that leads to the DCE?s residence.

The DCE has also confirmed the former President?s comments saying he was not beaten up.

He said his car was attacked by a man believed to be the bodyguard of the former President banged on his car and the other supporters joined in.

He said he sustained a cut on his forehead.
