Dunkwa Parliamentary Candidate steps up campaign

Dunkwa-On-Offin (C/R), Nov. 18, GNA – Mr Carl Ebo Morgan, an Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Upper Denkyira East Constituency, has pledged his commitment to improve the quality of education in the area.

He said as a Member of Parliament he would collaborate with the District Assembly and other stakeholders to establish a model basic school at Dunkwa.

“This model school would enrol all the best pupils from schools in the Constituency through an aptitude test that would be conducted by the District Education Directorate.”

Outlining his manifesto in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Dunkwa-On-Offin, Mr Morgan said the pupils would be given scholarship up to the Junior Secondary School.

Mr Morgan said he would collaborate with the chiefs to harmonise all scholarship schemes in the Constituency into a viable fund. He said he would promote health, sports and entrepreneurial development in the town as part of measures to regain the past glory of Dunkwa as a vibrant economic centre.
