Old Students Association holds Fun Games

Tema, Nov. 6, GNA – The Old Students Association of Tema Secondary School Association (TOSA) is putting up a multi-purpose clinic for the school at the cost of 300 million cedis.

The project is being financed through the voluntary contributions of the members which is expected to be completed by the end of next year. Dr Kwaku Anyemedu, President of the Association announced this at the end of the Association’s end of year Fun Games held at Tema on Saturday.

About 100 members of the association took part in the games, made up of soccer, tug-of-war, sack race and musical chairs.

Dr Anyemedu said the aim of the games was to always maintain constant links with the school and also socialize with its members to assist the school to develop.

He said the forum is also to give members the opportunity to undertake exercises at least once in a year since sports play a very vital role in the socio economic development of the human being.

The President called on the students of the school to take their lessons seriously so that they would grow to become national assets. The association climaxed the games with the commissioning of a 50-million cedi secretariat and donated beds worth 30 million cedis to the school.
