New streetlights commissioned at Techiman

Techiman (B/A), Oct. 29, GNA- Alhaji Adamu Mohammed, Assembly member for Hausaline Electoral Area at Techiman, has called on political parties and parliamentary candidates to seek permission of landlords before pasting posters on their walls.

This, Alhaji Mohammed said, would ensure peaceful campaigns towards the general election.

He made the call when a six-million-cedi street lights for the people of central zongo, a suburb of Techiman was commissioned. The project was funded by Mr Prince Oduro-Mensah, NPP Member of Parliament for Techiman South through the Common Fund. Alhaji Mohammed appealed to landlords to also exercise restraint and not to destroy posters even if the candidates did not seek their consent.

He commended Mr Oduro-Mensah for the project.
