Assembly to spend 98 million on hospital rehabilitation

The Bole District Assembly is spending 98 million cedis to rehabilitate the x-ray department and theatre of the Bole Government hospital, Madam Veronica Bukari, District Chief Executive, said this at an end-of-year get-together organised for the staff of the hospital at Bole.

She said there will be work on the hospital’s water supply to ensure uninterrupted flow.. Alhaji Abu Jaja, a contractor who hails from the area promised to rewire parts of the hospital and to replace some of the electrical installations. Madam Veronica Bukari asked the people to support and to patronise the hospital to justify the efforts of the assembly and the government. She said work on a new girls dormitory funded by the assembly for the Bole Secondary school was almost complete while six million cedis has been released to the school for the running of its science resource centre. The district medical officer, Dr Henry Atawura, appealed to the assembly to provide the hospital with a standby electricity generating plant. GRi
