Man electrocuted while hanging NPP flag

Accra Oct. 21, GNA – An unidentified man was on Wednesday night electrocuted while allegedly hanging the flag of the New Patriotic Party on an electric pole at Achimota in Accra.

An eye witness told the Ghana News Agency, that the deceased who had successfully hanged a flag on a pole was climbing a ladder to fix another flag on the next pole when his hand touched an electric wire and got electrocuted.

The witness said some volunteers carried the stiff and lifeless body of the man into a cab to the hospital. The incident led to lights off in the area.
