Busunya SSS gets electricity

Busunya (B/A), Oct 20, GNA – The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provided 59 million cedis towards the wiring and supply of electricity to the Busunya Senior Secondary School in the Nkoranza District.

The Nkoranza District Assembly also provided 12 low-tension poles. At a handing over ceremony held in the school on Friday by the consultants of the project, the Architectural Engineering Services Limited the Brong Ahafo Senior Controller of AESL Mr. Isaac N.K Quansah advised the staff of the school to ensure that the students handled the facility well.

Mr. Abubakari Ankomah, the Headmaster of the school, expressed gratitude to the Nkoranza District Assembly for providing the low-tension poles.

Mr Kwame Amporfo-Twumasi, the District Chef Executive, commended the ministry for providing the school with the facility to enhance the development of the district.

”Such a responsibility would have been shouldered by the assembly that is over burdened with many challenges.”
