Boabeng (B/A), Oct 15, GNA – Nana Amoah Awuah, Fetish priest in-charge of the Daworo Shrine at Boabeng/Fiema in the Nkoranza District, has appealed to the government to rehabilitate the feeder road that links Tankor on the Nkoranza-Kintampo road to Boabeng and Fiema. Nana Awuah made the appeal at the celebration of the Annual Daworo Munufua Yam Festival of the area on Friday.
He said foreign tourists have stopped visiting the monkey sanctuary at Frema because of the deplorable nature of the road.
Nana Awuah also appealed to the Nkoranza District Assembly to provide the people with two boreholes in addition to the two existing ones.
”The two boreholes are not sufficient because of the ever-increasing population of the area.
The community would also need a place of convenience to enhance the sanitation in the area and appealed to the District Assembly to assist them.
