Computers for Regional Information Services

Sunyani, Oct 15, GNA – Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, the Deputy Minister for Information, has said his ministry would provide computers to the Information Services Department offices in all the 10 regions of the country.

In addition, each of the offices would have access to the Internet. Mr Asamoah Boateng said this when he visited the Brong-Ahafo Regional Office of the Department in Sunyani on Thursday.

He told the staff that the government was doing all it could to get more equipment to augment what they already have to serve the purpose for which the department was established.

The Regional Director of ISD, Mr. Bossman Amo-Poku appealed to the Deputy Minister to ensure that the national cake for the Department was shared equitably to all the 10 regions.
