Staff of NFED urged to educate adult learners on Election

Kyebi (E/R), Oct. 12,GNA- Zonal Supervisors of the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports, have been called upon to educate adult learners on the need for peaceful General Election in December.

Mr Emmanuel Victor Asihene, East Akim District Chief Executive, made the call when he handed over eight Honda motorcycles to eight Zonal Supervisors of the NFED in the East Akim and Atiwa Districts at Kyebi on Tuesday.

Nana Emmanuel Kwakye, the District Coordinator of the NFED, expressed the hope that the motorcycles would help to improve supervision.

He said there were 170 adult literacy classes with an average of 20 adult learners in the two districts.
