Accra, Oct 11, Times –The Akuapem State has conferred on President Kufuor the title of ?Oseadeeyo? for the good work he has done during the past three-and-a-half years. ?Oseadeeyo? means one who accomplishes what he says he will do.
According to the paper, the Okuapenmanhene, Oseadeeyo Addo Dankwa lll, who gave the President the title last Friday at a durbar to mark the Odwira festival, said it was in recognition of the fact that the President had kept his promises.
He said that all the chiefs of Okuapem had agreed to give peace a chance to promote te development of the area.
?The roadmap to peace in the area has already been agreed upon,? he stated adding, that ?Akuapem will, therefore, celebrate a new era of a United Kingdom very soon.?
