Kumasi, Oct 10, GNA – A benevolent society, “Onuado Kroye Kuo” at Atonsu “S” Line in Kumasi on Saturday, presented a poly-tank worth three million cedis to the Kumasi South Hospital at Kyirapatre.

Making the presentation, Nana Sarfo Antwi-Boasiako, Vice-Chairman of the society, said the donation was in response to an appeal by the Hospital to the group to help solve the acute water problem at the health institution.

He said since January this year the society had embarked on several clean-up exercises at the hospital to ensure healthy environment.

Nana Antwi-Boasiako pledged the society’s readiness to assist the hospital when the need arose.

Dr Yaw Nkansah-Sarkodie, a medical officer at the Hospital, who received the poly-tank on behalf of the Hospital, thanked the society for their kind gesture.

He appealed to other groups within the hospital’s catchment area to emulate the society by donating items to help enhance health care delivery.
