Ghanaians ask to maintain the prevailing peaceful atmosphere

Ajumako (C/R), Oct 09, GNA – Mr Kenneth Obempong, the District Chief Executive for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, has advised Ghanaians to ensure that the peace prevailing in the country is not disturbed but sustained.

He said this at the first meeting of the third session of the assembly at Ajumako on Thursday during which the assembly re-elected Mr K.O. Ampah Biney, the Presiding Member, for another two-year term. Mr Obempong said the government had kept faith with the people and had fulfilled most of its campaign promises it made in 2000 and what is needed is peace and stability.

Mr Biney expressed his appreciation to the members for the confidence reposed in him and called for cooperation from members.
