Accra Experiencing Shortage of LP Gas

Parts of the Accra Metropolis have been hit by the shortage in Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

A visit to a number of gas plants and fuel filling stations in the metropolis showed that some of them have not received their supplies since last week.

Billboards with the inscription ?NO Gas? are visible at most of the gas plants that JOYNEWS visited today.

Consumers are also complaining about the situation as some have travelled the length and breath of the metropolis without any success.

Queues too are seen at other stations scrambling for the little available.

Enquiries at the Tema Oil Refinery proved unsuccessful as most of the officials were said to be out on the fields monitoring events.
