FDA warns public against advertised drugs

Accra, Sept. 22, GNA – The Food and Drugs Board (FDB), on Wednesday warned the public that it has not vetted or approved the three drugs being advertised on radio, by Kingdom Herbal Centre.

The drugs are, Tremendous Capsules, Nananom Garlic Bitters and Cardioplex Mixture.

“The Food and Drugs Board has not evaluated the products for the indication for which they are being advertised,” a statement signed by Mr Leonard Klogo of the Communications Department of the FDB, said.

“The public is hereby informed that anyone who uses these products for hypertension, diabetes and sexually transmitted diseases does so at his or her own risk.”
