NDC Launches 2004 Campaign in Cape Coast

Accra, Sept. 22, GNA – The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Wednesday stated that it would officially launch the final phase of its election 2004 campaign at the Victoria Park, Cape Coast on Saturday, September 25, 2004.

This is to confirm the holding of the event without postponing any further, following the cancellation of the previous announcement as it was first scheduled.

Dr Nii Josiah-Aryeh, General Secretary of the party, in a statement said the Saturday event would see the Flag Bearer, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, Party Chairman, Dr. Obed Asamoah, National Executive and other leading members of the NDC opening up themselves to the people at a mammoth rally.

The statement reminded Regional and Constituency executives to take note of the date and make appropriate arrangements for members, supporters and sympathisers of the party to attend the launching of the campaign in their numbers.

It entreats media practitioners and the general public to be part of the events under the banner: “The NDC is marching on to victory; our goal: A Better Ghana under the Presidency of Prof Atta Mills”.
