Court remands six employees for stealing.

Tema, Sept 14, GNA – Three security men and three others, a factory hand, forklift operator and a driver of Dynatech Aluminium Factory on the Spintex road, have been remanded by the Tema Circuit Court ‘B’ for stealing aluminium ingot bars and 50 packets of roofing sheets all valued at 31.4 million cedis. Anthony Atta, Afotugbe Benjamin and Bartholomew Dorllah, the security men, together with Abubakar Mohammed, factory hand, Samuel Tetteh, forklift operator, and Robert Vigedor, driver, pleaded not guilty to the charge and will re-appear on September 20.

Police Chief Inspector Edith Nutakor told the court that on August 20, Atta and Mohammed were seen at the security office of the factory, while others loaded a container with aluminium ingot bars. Chief Inspector Nutakor said after the container had left the complainant had information that the accused persons had conspired and stolen some of the items from the container and hidden them in the security room. A report was made to the police and the accused persons were arrested.
