PTA speaks against encroachment on Institute’s land

Gomoa Panfokrom (C/R), Sept. 12, GNA- The vice-chairman of the Gomoa Panfokrom Women’s Training Institute Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Reverend Prince Kwame Katu has spoken against the encroachment of the school’s land.

He said reports reaching school authorities indicated that some people in the area have started removing the pillars used to demarcate the Institute’s land.

Rev. Katu who spoke in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Gomoa Panfokrom appealed to the authorities to address the problem.

He said the Institute could be expanded in future and advised encroachers to keep off the school land.

The vice-chairman expressed regret that only a handful of students from the area particularly the town expressed interest to attend the Institute and urged the people to send their children to the institution.
