GetFund provides school blocks in KEEA district

Elmina (C/R), Sept. 9, GNA- The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), has provided 1.9 billion cedis for the construction of four new school blocks, for three communities, and a school in the Elmina township, in the Komenda-Edina- Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) District of the Central Region.

The communities, are Ntranoa, Nkotrodo and Brenu Akyinmu , while the beneficiary school at Elmina, is the D/A primary and JSS school.

The District Chief Executive, Nana Ato Arthur, who made this known on Thursday, when he took newsmen round the projects, said the Assembly was providing furniture for the school at Ntranoa at a cost of 33 million cedis.

He said the Assembly, has constructed a bungalow for the District Director of Health Services, costing 290 million cedis. He said a new classroom with a store and toilet, for the primary six pupils of the Catholic Girls School at Elmina, was also under construction.
