NDC is not broke – Mahama

The director communications of the national democratic congress NDC John Mahama has dismissed reports by some media outfits that the NDC is broke and finds it difficult financing its electoral campaign.

According to him it is a fact that the party finds it difficult to mobilize funds now in opposition but the party still has a number committed of rich people providing some funds for the party.

Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Kapital hosted by Kwame Atuahene, Mr. Mahama noted that contrary to that assertion the party has adequate funds for the upcoming elections.

He rebuffed claims that the party is in disarray following misunderstanding between some highly placed members of the party over the constitution of Prof Mills campaign Team describing it as only a normal communication problem.

On reports that he is being tipped for the vice presidential position of the party, he said it is a creation of the media saying I have not heard from Prof. Mills or the founder that I am being considered.

He declined to answer whether he will accept or not when nominated.
