Accra comes alive as Chef Abbys celebrates World Food Day with Big Street Feast

Ghanaian culinary star Chef Abbys celebrated World Food Day in grand style with a Big Street Feast, an unforgettable food festival that brought Accra to life.

The event, which climaxed at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, reportedly fed over 15,000 Ghanaians, making it one of the largest community food events ever held in the country.

The Big Street Feast began its journey from several key routes across Accra  including Kwabenya, Haatso, Atomic Junction, Accra Mall, Dzorwulu, Achimota, Lapaz, Nyamekye, Darkuman Junction, Obetsebi Lamptey Circle, and finally ended with a massive celebration at Efua Sutherland Park.

The grand finale featured thrilling performances from Keche, Karsar, and 99Phaces, alongside appearances from notable personalities including S3fa, Kalby, and Jiffa, stars of the popular reality series GH Queens.

Beyond the entertainment and excitement, the event embodied Chef Abby’s passion for food as a unifying force bringing people together from all walks of life to share in the joy of Ghanaian cuisine and culture.

With thousands fed and smiles all around, Chef Abby’s Big Street Feast was more than just a food festival it was a celebration of community, compassion, and the rich culinary heritage of Ghana.
