Princess Marfo Makes Second Debut For Nordsjaelland

Black Queens forward Princess Marfo marked her return to Danish side FC Nordsjaelland on Monday evening, coming off the bench in their 3-2 league defeat to HB Koge.

The 23-year-old, who rejoined the club earlier this month after a spell with US outfit Bay FC, was introduced in the 75th minute, just moments after Koge had taken the lead. Despite her energy and attacking drive, Nordsjaelland were unable to find an equaliser, suffering their second loss of the 2025/26 campaign.

Marfo previously featured for Nordsjaelland before leaving for Bay FC, where she struggled to replicate her earlier form. Her return to Denmark marks a fresh chapter as she looks to rediscover the spark that made her a key figure for both club and country.

She was part of Ghana’s Black Queens squad that clinched bronze at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and is expected to play an important role for Nordsjaelland as the season progresses.
