Ghana’s First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, will deliver a keynote address at the 7th Annual Prayer Service for Children in New York, held alongside the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
The event, themed “A Moment of Hope,” aims to inspire global leaders to prioritize the welfare of vulnerable children worldwide, focusing on six dimensions of hope: compassion, resilience, purpose, joy, wisdom, and spiritual life.
Lordina Mahama’s participation expresses her dedication to improving children’s welfare globally, particularly in healthcare, education, and social protection, which has earned her international recognition.
Other notable speakers include Rev. Andrew J. Morley, President and CEO of World Vision International, and Mrs. Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme.
The prayer service will bring together world leaders, faith leaders, and humanitarian partners to unite in prayer and call for action to protect children and support their development, especially during global crises.
